Nexus silicon fan absorbers come in different sizes: for 80mm, 92mm and 120mm fans with any thickness. A simple yet efficient solution to prevent fan resonance and vibrations.

The Nexus AXM-8200 is a tremendously quiet CPU cooler for the AM2, 940, 939, 754 socket CPU's. This tower (side blower) CPU cooler is equipped with two high performance copper heat pipes with an diameter of a 8mm. The cooler has a combination of pure copper aluminum fins for the best possible dissipation/weight balance. The PWM-controlled fan has 10cm diameter rotor to provide massive airflow all directed directly at the heat-pipes. The RPM has been set to a maximum of quiet 1500 RPM speed, yet with enough CFM and static pressure to give your CPU all the necessary cooling it requires.

The PWM-controlled fan has a fan speed range of between 700~1500 RPM with a corresponding noise level of just 17 ~ 25.5 dB(A). The high performance characteristics of this cooler guarantees the lowest possible fan speed (and therefore the quietest possible operation) for your computer system.

The two U-shaped copper Heat-Pipes with which the AXM-8200 is equipped have a massive 8mm diameter. This in contrast with many coolers in the market with only 6mm diameter heat pipes. This 2mm extra gives the cooler the extra power to cool the CPU without massive airflow.

The AXM-8200 comes with the mounting leaver pre-assembled. So no further assembly is necessary.

Also included in the box is a high performance silver thermal paste.

Just put a thin film of the silver paste on the CPU core and mount the AXM-8200 CPU cooler.

The combination of aluminum and copper fins give a great balance between heat dissipation capabilities and weight. High fins density for the largest possible surface area.

The fan is mounted with a metal clip and the metal clip has a silicone rubber coating where it is in contact with the fins, this is done to prevent any resonance between the clip and the fins.

	Nexus provides the exact details of our noise level test as we feel dB(A) values are difficult values to compare as there are many ways of testing and calculating. In the market there are a lot of unrealistic dB(A) value-claims which are often calculated by means of extrapolation. This in fact does not give a realist view of the fans noise level performance.
