Nexus Technology is a company that
has been focusing and investing in creating a better environment for
the PC users for many years. With the focus on a silent pc the
ergonomics of the working environment is greatly improved and it has
shown that a more comfortable and quiet atmosphere is less tiring and
much more comfortable to work and live in.
 A
quiet and comfortable working environment is a great virtue but the
discussion on a good environment is now much more global with the dangers of
global warming and increasing CO2 becoming clearer. As it is within our
company's focus to care for the environment on a small and large scale we
have found a good partnership in Tree-Nation. Tree-Nation is an ecological
project with a focused objective: To plant 8 million trees in the Sahara. We
feel greatly connected to Tree-Nation's focus and philosophy and we share
their vision that although protecting the environment is a serious issue, we
want to make it funky and fresh at the same time.
Tree-Nation is supported by the United Nations Environment Program "Plant
for the Planet".
With certain Nexus
products such as the Version1 case and the 80 Plus efficiency power
supplies Nexus in cooperation with the distribution partners will invest
part of the margin made in new trees at Tree-Nation. When a retail products
is fitted with the Tree-Nation logo sticker the customer will find a
registration card inside. This registration card will tell the URL and
password for the customer to claim and 'virtually' plant the tree supported
by Nexus Technology. The customer can provide a specific message to the tree
and watch it grow.

the trees are virtually planted and growing.
